Websites

The site we built for ourselves, built for yours.

A moving company website where a customer can see what you do and what it costs, start a quote with one tap, and believe the number because the photos and the reviews are real. Built by two people who run a moving company on one, and it stays yours.

  • Rates published on every site we build
  • Real photos only, never stock
  • You own the site and the files
  • Changes by text, up the same business day

The one we built

Our own site, on a desk and in a hand.

Hercules Moving Heroes, the company this whole site is written from. We rebuilt its website this fall around one idea: publish the rates and explain the clock, and let everything else on the page make that number believable. It is the only example we have, because it is ours, and every section of it is annotated here.

The Hercules Moving Heroes homepage on a desktop: the headline, an estimate button, the Google rating, call and text links, and a photo of the crew in a truck
Desktop, October 2026. Headline, estimate button, the Google rating, call and text, the crew.
The same homepage on a phone: the headline, the estimate button, the rating, call and text links, and a sticky bar with Estimate and Call buttons
On a phone. Estimate and Call stay on screen as it scrolls.
  • Customers understand what you do and what it costs before they call, so the calls you get are the ones you want.
  • A quote is one tap away. Text, call, or the estimate button, where a thumb lands.
  • Real work and real reviews do the convincing. Your crew, your trucks, your Google rating. Never stock.
  • Changes are a text message. A new rate, a new photo, a new town: up the same business day.
  • You keep the site. If you ever leave, you get the files and it keeps working wherever you host it.

Two sizes

One page to start. The whole build when you have jobs.

Launch site

One page. Live inside a week.

$750

to build, then $49 a month
  • Your name, your town, your number and your rate table on the first screen
  • The clock paragraph, written from your rates and your minimum
  • Text and call buttons that stay on screen as the page scrolls
  • Your photos, and the shot list for the ones you do not have yet
  • Your Google rating, linked to the profile, and one proof line
  • Services and service area, each in a sentence
  • Hosting, your domain pointed, and every rate change you text us
You provide
Your rates and minimum, your number, your photos, a link to your Google profile if you have one.
Timing
Live inside a week, counted from when we have your rates, number and photos.
Revisions
One round after the first live draft.
Ownership
The monthly starts the day it goes live. Cancel any time by email and keep the files.

For: you have a rate sheet and a phone number. Maybe one job, maybe none yet. The rate sheet comes from the pricing guide.

Full site

Every service and every town. About three weeks.

$2,500

to build, then $99 a month
  • Everything in the launch site, as the homepage
  • A page for each service: local, labor-only, packing, specialty items, long distance
  • A page for each town or county you want to be found in, up to six to start
  • The rates page in full, with single-item prices and the extras
  • About, with the crew by first name, the trucks and the shop
  • Copy written from your rates and your version of the quote script
  • Photo direction: the shot list, and a look at what you shoot before it goes up
  • Hosting, rate changes, photo swaps, and a new page when you add a service or a town
You provide
Your rates, your services and towns, your photos, and links to your reviews and anything that exists today.
Timing
About three weeks, counted from the deposit and your materials arriving.
Revisions
Two rounds after the first live draft.
Ownership
Half to start, half at launch. The monthly starts the day it goes live. Cancel any time by email and keep the files.

For: you have jobs and reviews, and you want the phone to ring from Google instead of from a lead site. We do not promise a ranking or a number of calls; the structure gives Google what it looks for, and your reviews and your phone do the rest.

Three rules

The same rules we built ours on.

  • 1

    Every site publishes rates

It is the whole reason the site works, and the thing almost no mover will do. If you want your prices hidden, we are the wrong builder, and we will say so before you pay anything.

  • 2

    Real photos or nothing

No stock. If you have none yet, the site goes live with what you have, even if that is you and a rental truck, and we swap them in as you shoot the list.

  • 3

    You own the files

Plain HTML and CSS on a host we run. No builder subscription, no plugins, nothing to update. If you leave, you get the folder, and it works anywhere you put it.

A yardstick, not a forecast

What one job at the higher price covers.

In the marketing teardown we use an example: a $600 quote from a listing with no photos against a $900 quote from a company with wrapped couches and five-star reviews. The $300 gap in that example is revenue on one job, not profit, and it is an illustration from our market, not a measured result of any website. Used only as a yardstick, it looks like this.

$300The gap in the teardown's example, on one job, before crew, truck and fuel
5Jobs at that gap to cover year one of the launch site, $1,338 with the build
13Jobs at that gap to cover year one of the full site, $3,688 with the build
0Rankings, lead counts or revenue we promise with it

Year one of the launch site is $750 plus twelve months at $49. Year one of the full site is $2,500 plus twelve months at $99. The job counts are extra revenue needed, not extra profit; your crew, truck and fuel come out of each one. Whether a site brings those jobs depends on your market, your reviews and how fast you answer the phone.

How it runs

From the application to the first rate change.

  1. Step 1
Apply. Tell us where the company is and send what you have: your rates, your number, your photos, a link to your Google profile. We reply within two business days with a yes or a no and the reason. If the month is full, we say when the next slot is.
  2. Step 2
Pay to start. The launch site is paid up front. The full site is half to start and half when it goes live. Nothing is charged until you have said yes to a start date.
  3. Step 3
The first draft, as a live link. We write the rate table and the clock paragraph from your numbers, place your photos, and send you a link you can open on your phone. Not a mockup. The real page.
  4. Step 4
Changes. One round on the launch site, two on the full build. Copy, photos, order, a price you want to change. Not a different site.
  5. Step 5
Live. Your domain pointed, the old site redirected if there was one, the Google profile linked. The monthly starts the day it goes live. From then on, text us a rate change and it is up the same business day.
  6. Any time
Leave. Email us, the monthly stops from the next month, and you get the files. The site keeps working wherever you host it.

If you already bought from us

The course comes off the price. Mentorship gets the full site for less.

Module 11 of the course teaches you to build this yourself, and plenty of people should. If you would rather we did it, what you paid for the course counts.

  • Bought the course. $497 comes off the full site, so the build is $2,003. The launch site stays $750, because the course already contains everything a one-page site needs.
  • In mentorship. The full site for the launch-site price, $750 and $49 a month, built in your second month. Month one is your numbers, and the site is built from them.
  • Booked the strategy call. No credit, but ask on the call. We will tell you which size fits, or that you should build it yourself from the checklist.

Who it is for

You can say what a two-bedroom costs.

That is the only real requirement. A launch site needs a rate sheet and a number. A full site needs jobs behind it, so there are photos to show and reviews to link. Either way, the rates go on the page, and you are fine with that.

Who it is not for

If you want the price hidden, this is the wrong site.

We will not build a "call for a quote" site, because we do not believe it works and we would be charging you for something we would not run ourselves. And if you cannot name your rates yet, read the pricing page first. It is free, and the site cannot be built without the answer.

Questions

Before you send it.

How many of these do you take on?

Four a month. We run a moving company and the course, and a site built in a hurry is one we would not put our name on. If the month is full, your application waits for the next one and we tell you so in the reply.

What does the monthly actually cover?

Hosting, keeping the domain pointed, any price or copy change you text us, photo swaps, and fixing anything that breaks. On the full site it also covers a new page when you add a service or a town. It does not cover ads, review responses or a search-ranking retainer, and we do not sell those.

I already have a site on Squarespace, Wix or GoDaddy.

The old one stays up until the new one is live. We rebuild on files, point your domain, and set redirects from the old addresses so Google does not lose the pages it already knows. You cancel the builder subscription after, not before.

Do I need a domain?

Yes, and you register it, so it is yours. It is about $15 a year and we tell you where. We point it at the site. If you already have one, we use it.

Is there a quote form?

A text button and a call link, which is how our own leads arrive. If you want a short form as well, you get one: name, number, move date, from and to. Four fields, sent to your email. Not nine.

Can I edit it myself?

Text us the change and it is up the same business day, which is the point of the monthly. If you would rather edit the files, they are plain HTML and you can. We will show you where the rates live.

What about search?

The structure does the part that matters for a local mover: one page per service and per town, titles that say what and where, a page that loads fast on a phone, and the Google Business Profile linked both ways. We do not promise a ranking and we do not sell a monthly to chase one.

I have no photos yet.

The site goes live with what you have, even if that is one photo of you and the rental truck, and you get the shot list. Send photos from the next three jobs and we swap them in. Stock is never the answer, so do not send any.

Can I have the quote estimator you are building?

Not yet. It is live on our own site now, and when it has run there for a season it comes to full sites. We would rather not promise it before it has worked for us.

Tell us about your website

Where the company is, and what exists today.

Your town, your rates if you have them, whether you have done a job yet, and a link to anything that exists: a Google profile, a listing, the old site. Sending this charges nothing and commits you to nothing. We reply within two business days with a yes, a no, or a question; if it is a yes, the next step is a start date and an invoice for the build.

Which size

We read every one and reply within two business days, by email. Four builds a month; if the month is full we say when the next one opens. Nothing is charged until you have said yes to a start date.

Got it.We will email you within two business days. Nothing has been charged.

Your rates, on the first screen, by next week.

Send us where the company is. We reply within two business days with a yes, a no, or a question, and nothing is charged until you agree a start date.

Tell us about your website

Rather build it yourself? Our site, annotated, is the checklist, and it is free. The site itself is at herculesmovingheroes.com.
